The education council of the Fayette Chamber of Commerce honored Patrick J. Reagan of Masontown, a junior at Albert Gallatin High School, as student of the month for October. The son of William and Toni Reagan, he plans to attend Duquesne University or West Virginia University to major in pharmacy or engineering and eventually become a pharmacist.

He has gained work experience tending lawns for area residents and routinely doing light maintenance on a neighbor’s home. He shows community involvement working with Interact cleaning litter from area highways.

He is a member of the spirit team, student council and the track and cross-country teams. He was a representative to the Youth Leadership Conference and a member of the All-County Cross-Country Team.

Elected by their schools based on academic achievement, extra-curricular activities, and citizenship, students of the month are honored by the chamber’s education council.
