William A. Chapley, age 58, of California, Pa., died Friday, December 12, 2003 in Mount Macrina Manor, Uniontown, Pa. He was born on April 5, 1945 in Brownsville, Pa., son of John and Ethel (Horwath) Chapley.

He was a member of the American Legion in California, Pa.

A Brother, Steve Chapley, and Parents preceded him in death.

He is survived by a Niece, Joan VanDivner and her husband Dallas, Uniontown, Pa.; Nephew, Stephen Chapley and his wife Angela, Belle Vernon, Pa.; Sister-in-law, Joan Chapley, Uniontown, Pa.; Special Aunt, Isabel Hatalsky, West Brownsville, Pa.; and two Great Nieces: Jessica and Emily.

Friends will be received in the SKIRPAN FUNERAL HOME, 135 Park Street, Brownsville, Pa., today from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. where a Blessing Service will be held Monday, December 15, at 10 a.m. with Rev. Fr. Vincent Gigliotti officiating.

Interment will follow in Taylor Cemetery, West Pike Run Township, Brownsville.
