James C. Cramer

James C. Cramer, 92, of Big Brownfield, Pa., died Friday, December 12, 2003 in UPMC Presbyterian, Pittsburgh, Pa. He was born November 24, 1911 in North Union Township, Fayette County, Pa., son of John T. Cramer and Henrietta Stickle Cramer.

James was a Veteran of World War II who served in the United States Army.

He was a member of General George C. Marshall AMVETS Post 103 in Hopwood, Pa., and Alfred Wilson Memorial V.F.W. Post 7219, Fairchance, Pa.

His wife, Marie Cupplo Cramer, five brothers, six sisters, parents, and his special companion, Edna L. Hughes, preceded him in death.

Surviving are two children: James J. Cramer, Glen Burnie, Maryland, and Cindy Wrona, Uniontown, Pa.; two grandchildren; brother, Harry “Bingo” Cramer, Smithfield, Pa.; sister, Lois Riggen, Cleveland, Ohio; nieces; nephews; and the family of Edna L. Hughes.

The Family will receive Friends in the DEAN C. WHITMARSH FUNERAL HOME, 134 West Church Street, Fairchance, Pa., today until 11 a.m., the hour of service, with the Rev. Wayne Sawyer officiating.

Interment will follow in Mountain View Memorial Park, Hopwood, Pa.
