Sophie Brandt, 91, of Washington (North Bethlehem Township), formerly of Ellsworth, Pa., died Saturday, Dec. 13, 2003, at 10:45 a.m., in her home. Mrs. Brandt was formerly employed by the Elish and Company.

Surviving are a daughter, Nellie Antanovich, with whom she made her home of Washington, Pa.; one son, Earl Brandt of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio; two brothers, George Smaroff and Robert Smaroff, both of Eighty Four, Pa.; 11 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and three great great-grandchildren.

Friends will be received today from 2 to 9 p.m., in the Greenlee Funeral Home, 619 Main St., Bentleyville, Pa., where services will be held at 11 a.m., on Tuesday, Dec. 16, 2003.
