Donald (Tony) Panzone, 85, of National Pike, Grindstone, Pa., died Monday, Dec. 15, 2003, in Henry Clay Villa. He was born March 15, 1918, in Tarrs, Pa., son of the late Anthony and Minnie Mellors Panzone.

She was a member of the UMWA and Gateway Local 6330.

Surviving are his wife, Rose Molar Buck Panzone; two sons, Donald R. Panzone Sr., and wife, Dorothy of Brownsville, Pa., and Raymond Buck of San Francisco, Calif.; a grandson, Donald R. Panzone Jr., of California, Pa.; a granddaughter, Nancy Broadwater of Lancaster, Pa.; three great-grandchildren, David and Ashley Panzone and Suede Broadwater; five brothers, William Panzone of California, George Panzone of Michigan, Joseph Panzone of Ohio, Louis Panzone of Rowes Run, Pa., and Leonard Panzone of Ohio; and two sisters, Margaret Misenko of Ohio, and Barbara Kennedy of Smock, Pa.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a stepson, Jack Buck; two brothers, James and Thomas Panzone; and three sisters, Elizabeth Kirka, Dora Gibson and Alberta Draucer.

Friends will be received in the SKIRPAN FUNERAL HOME, 135 Park St., Brownsville, Pa., on Wednesday from 6 to 9 p.m., and Thursday from 5 to 9 p.m., where a funeral service will be held on Friday at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Michael Peton officiating. Interment will be in LaFayette Memorial Park.
