Richard D. Lint of Cowling Road, Scottdale, Pa., died Monday evening, December 15, 2003 in UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Oakland, at the age of 63. He was formerly employed as a bridge crane operator for Uptegraff Manufacturing Corporation of Scottdale, with 12 years of service. Previously, he had been employed at the Scottdale Machine Foundry, Construction, Everson.

Richard’s memories will forever remain in the heart of his wife, Shirley Elaine Thomas Lint with whom he celebrated their 40th anniversary in the Church Of St. John The Baptist, Scottdale, on Sunday, December 14th.

He is survived by two daughters: Cheryl Ann Stewart of Scottdale, and her friend Daniel Berry of North Huntingdon, and Jennifer S. Shawley and her husband Jeffrey Shawley, Sr. of Scottdale; his son: Richard M. Lint and his fianc? Anne of New Stanton; four grandchildren; a sister, Lillian M. Ronzio and her husband Terry of Holbrook, Pa.; and one uncle and one aunt.

Richard’s family will greet friends in the Frank Kapr Funeral Home, Inc., 417 West Pittsburgh Street, Scottdale, today from 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

A Blessing service will be held Friday, at 9:30 a.m., in the funeral home.
