Olive Hazel Golden Johnson, 99, of Rosedale, Pa., died Wednesday, December 17, 2003, in the Cherry Tree Nursing Home, Uniontown, Pa. She was born October 17, 1904, in Rosedale, Pa., the daughter of the late John L. and Emma Wilson Golden.

She was predeceased by her first husband, George Diffenderffer; her second husband, Norman Johnson; a daughter, Elda Jeanne Diffenderffer Fegela; a sister, Gladys Adams; and two brothers, Harold and Vernon H. Golden.

Surviving is a granddaughter, Gail, of Cincinnati, Ohio; several nieces and nephews; and grand nieces and nephews. Olive was the last surviving member of her family.

She was retired from the Army Women’s Corps after 20 years of service.

The family will receive friends in the GOLDSBORO-TOMI FUNERAL HOME, 21 East Church Street, Fairchance, today from 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday, Dec. 20, 2003, until 11 a.m., the hour of service with the Rev. George W. McLaughlin officiating. Interment will follow in Sylvan Heights Cemetery, Uniontown.

Graveside military rites will be accorded by the AMVETS, General Marshall Post 103, Hopwood, Pa.
