Three charged
Vicki L. Hebner, 46, of 130 Coolspring St. and Mary Jane Thomas, 51, of 156 Walnut St. were charged with possession of cocaine, and Traci Lovis, 33, of 10 Mountain Ave. was charged with criminal conspiracy early Thursday, city police said. They were in a vehicle that was pulled over after suspected drug activity in a Pershing Court parking lot at 1 a.m. Thursday, police said.

Windows shot
City police received at least eight reports of vehicle windows being shot out with BBs Wednesday night or early Thursday. At least three of the incidents occurred on Downer Avenue, while others occurred on West Berkeley Street, West Craig Street and Belmont Circle.

Deanne M. Kelley told city police Thursday that someone broke into her 10 Morgantown St. apartment and stole a rented DVD player and a Charter cable box. Police said Kelley was moving out and those items were among the few that she had not yet moved.

Ronald Sayko, 32, and Brad Helms, 35, both of Vanderbilt, were cited for disorderly conduct for allegedly fighting in the Vanderbilt post office lobby at 1:32 p.m. Thursday, state police said.

CDs stolen
Someone cut open the convertible roof of a car owned by Jamie King of Dawson at a bar in Ruffsdale and stole several compact discs between 3 and 11:15 a.m. Thursday, state police said.

Charges filed
Harassment charges were filed Thursday against Aaron Nixon of Uledi for allegedly contacting Amber Michael of Belle Vernon at her Solomon Street residence numerous times after being told not to do so, state police said.

Hit-and-run reported
Someone driving a blue Ford vehicle struck a car owned by Elizabeth Laufer of Bethel Park that was parked at the corner of Union and Second streets at 2 a.m. Friday, state police said.

Someone broke a window on a car owned by Melanie Jo Crable at 438 Clarendon Ave. between 6 p.m. Wednesday and 8:45 a.m. Thursday, state police said.

State police said charges are pending against a Connellsville man for allegedly stealing a TV from the Fat Boys Motel between Dec. 12 and 15.

Theft reported
State police said an unknown woman stole three condoms from the Sheetz convenience store on Route 119 at Route 982 at 3:40 a.m. Dec. 5 and fled north on Route 982 in a light blue Ford Ranger.

A window was knocked out of its track and a lock was damaged at the ACACIA fraternity house on Wood Street between Dec. 16 and 18, state police said.

Frame damaged
A doorframe on an abandoned structure at 146 Edward St. owned by Saxon Mortgages of Fort Worth, Texas, was damaged between Nov. 17 and Dec. 17, state police said.

Police investigate
State police said they are investigating a Thursday morning incident at a Fourth Street residence in Buffington in which a New Salem man allegedly grabbed a woman, shoved her to the floor and passed out. The woman then found suspected marijuana in the man’s pants.

Car fire
State police said a fire started in the engine compartment of a car driven by Randy L. Shea, 33, of Republic while he was driving on New Salem Road, just west of Filbert Heights Road, at 8:15 p.m. Wednesday. Nobody was injured. The Republic Volunteer Fire Department extinguished the fire.
