James A. Snyder, 52, of Uniontown, Pa., died unexpectedly Friday, December 19, 2003 in Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, West Virginia.

He was born December 8, 1951 in Brownsville, Pa., son of William Snyder Jr. and the late Genevieve Beal Snyder.

“Jim” was a former employee of Consolidated Coal Company at the Dilworth Mine.

He was an avid golfer.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia L. Bolas Snyder; a brother, William Snyder III and his wife Linda Hone Snyder of East Millsboro, Pa. He was a loving uncle to his three nieces and nephew, Jennifer Milne, Kristen Hunt, Brandi Snyder, Brandon M. Bolas, and his great nephews and niece, Preston , Tyler, and Vanessa Renee. He is also survived by his mother-in-law, Clara M. Bolas, who made her home with Jim and Pat.

It was Jim’s request that his body be cremated and memorial contributions be made in his name to Pleasant Valley Country Club, 440 Pleasant Valley Road, Connellsville, PA 15425.

Arrangements are under direction of the DEARTH FUNERAL HOME, 35 South Mill Street, New Salem, Pa.
