Porter-Sauers
Cassandra Jean Sauers of Carmichaels and Andrew Shaun Porter of Dunbar were united in marriage on Sept. 20. The Rev. Dr. John Sharp officiated the ceremony at the Presbyterian Church of Dunbar.
The bride’s parents are Davitt E. Sauers of Carmichaels and Brenda C. Wilson of Winchester, Va.
The bridegroom’s parents are Lois Porter of Dunbar and the late William Porter.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
Matron of honor was Kara A. Sullivan, sister of the bride. Bridesmaid was Katie Maddas, niece of the bridegroom. Flower girls were Emily Herchko, niece of the bridegroom; and Victoria Sullivan, niece of the bride.
Jerome Sefcheck, brother-in-law of the bridegroom, was best man. Johnathan Herchko, nephew of the bridegroom, was a groomsman. Ring bearer was Jed D. Sullivan Jr., nephew of the bride.
A reception was held at the Fraternal Order of Eagles Hall in Leisenring.
The bride is a pharmacy technician at The Medicine Mine in Carmichaels.
The bridegroom is a pharmacist at The Medicine Mine, Carmichaels.
The couple resides on Boyd Street, Connellsville.
