William R. Woods Sr., 73, of Elyria, Ohio, died Sunday, December 21, 2003, at the Rae-Ann Center in Cleveland, following a lengthy illness. He was employed in the maintenance department at the former Harshaw Chemical Company in Elyria for 35 years, retiring in 1992.

Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Lulu (Maley); sons, William R. Woods Jr. of Elyria and the Rev. David G. Woods of North Ridgeville; two grandchildren; a sister, Robina Bryner of Elyria; and a brother, Robert Woods of Elyria

There will be no visitation.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday, December 23, 2003, at 7 p.m., at the Calvary Ridge Church of the Nazarene, 34881 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville, Ohio. Arrangements are under the direction of the Bauer-Laubenthal Funeral Home.
