Grace E. Rossell
Grace Elmira Rossell, 82, of Perryopolis, Pa., was welcomed home by her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, November 25, 2003, at 8:55 p.m., in Beverly Health Care Nursing Home, Uniontown, following a ten-week illness with lung cancer. Grace was born on November 28, 1920, in Uniontown, Pa., a daughter of the late Louis Cope Masten and Laura Anna Stephens Masten.
Grace was a member of Redstone Methodist Church and The Morning Star Grange for many years.
She was a graduate of Brownsville Area High School class of 1938.
She is survived by two daughters, Elmira Jane Prewett Hasek of Fayette City, Pa., and Anita Prewett Belsick of Taylors, S.C.; twin sons, Clyde Rossell of Jamesburg, N.J., and Claude Rossell of Columbia, Md.; eight grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and one sister, Esther Summers of Clarksburg, W.Va.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband, Arthur Prewett of Fayette City, Pa., second husband of 38 years, Clyde P. Rossell; and a sister Ruth Hawker.
Special arrangements for a private memorial service for the immediate family and friends are being conducted by the BLAIR-LOWTHER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 106 East Independence Street, Perryopolis.
