Mildred (Mid) P. Harford
Mildred (Mid) P. Harford, 89, of New Bloomfield, Pa., and formerly of Uniontown, Pa., passed away Monday, Dec. 22, 2003, in the Perry Village Nursing Center, New Bloomfield. She was born Jan. 3, 1914, in Coolspring, Pa., daughter of the late Clark and Kate Martin Wilson.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Charles E. Harford; a grandson, Todd Citro; a granddaughter, Susan Kennedy; and these brothers and sisters, Hazel Marie and James Robert Wilson, Virginia Kathryn Shaffer, Albert Wilson and Elda Jane Woodward.
Mid was a member of the Uppermiddletown United Methodist Church, The Monday Nite All-Stars and the Thursday Nite Ladies Bowling Leagues.
She is survived by a son, Louis Harford and his wife, Linda of New Bloomfield; a daughter, Karen Citro and her husband, Michael of Perryopolis; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and these brothers and sisters, Glen Wilson and his wife, Alberta of Girards Fort, Pa., Kenneth Wilson and his wife, Janet of Uniontown, Pa., Dorothea (Dot) Yurik and her husband, Alex of Uppermiddletown, Bernice Shrum of Keisterville, and Shirley Myatt and her husband, Roger of Mount Vernon, Ohio.
Friends will be received in the DEARTH FUNERAL HOME, New Salem, on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., and until 11 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 27, 2003, the hour of service with the Rev. Roger P. Howard officiating. Interment will follow in LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, Pa.
