Ethel Smell Reahard
Ethel Smell Reahard, age 92 years, of Uniontown, Pa., and formerly of McClellandtown, Pa., passed away on Wednesday, December 24, 2003 at home.
She was born June 11, 1911 in German Township, Fayette County, Pa., daughter of Claude Smell and Malinda Shoaf Smell.
Ethel was a member of First Christian Church in New Salem, Pa.
She graduated from the former German Township High School in McClellandtown.
Mrs. Reahard was a retired Educator who taught in the German Township Schools of the Albert Gallatin School District.
She was a member of The Busy Needles in McClellandtown and the Fayette County Association of School Retirees.
Her husband, Clark F. Reahard, an infant grandson, Mark Formentelli, two sisters, Edna Smell and Opal Jubin, a brother, Glenn Smell, and parents preceded her in death.
She is survived by a Daughter, Linda Formentelli and her husband Robert of Uniontown with whom she made her home; a Son, William C. Reahard and his wife Mary Lee of McClellandtown, Pa.; Grandchildren: Robert M. Formentelli and wife Paula of Reynoldsburg, Ohio, Diane Hasson and husband Brian of Washington, Pa., Gregory Formentelli of McClellandtown, Pa., Melissa Casper and husband Mike of McClellandtown, Pa., and Wendy Michels and husband Jim of Pittsburgh, Pa.; Great Grandchildren: Miranda Formentelli, Adam Hasson, Connor Hasson, Michael Casper, Kristyl Casper, Hope Malott, and Summer Malott; a Sister, Mabel Hostetler and husband Jack of Uniontown, Pa.; and many nephews and nieces.
Family and Friends will be received in the H. DAVID McELROY FUNERAL HOME, 803 Main Street, McClellandtown, Pa., this evening from 7 to 9 p.m., Saturday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday, December 28, until 2 p.m., the hour of Service. The Rev. Andy Miles will officiate.
Interment will follow in Church Hill Cemetery, McClellandtown.
