Frances Elizabeth David Baxter
Frances Elizabeth David Baxter, 70, of Alliance, Ohio, died Monday, December 22, 2003 at 2:25 a.m. in her home surrounded by her family after a long courageous battle with cancer.
She was born on December 13, 1933 in Uniontown, Pa., the daughter of Simon and Anna (Stepanik) David.
“Fran” had lived in Alliance, Ohio, since she was 18 years old.
Mrs. Baxter was a 42-year member of Regina Coeli Catholic Church.
She was employed as a Plant Clerk at the Alliance Water Department for 29 years and belonged to the National Notary Association.
Her Family was her greatest joy! She was a loving Mother and Grandmother to her Children and Grandchildren.
She will always be remembered as a proud, courageous, loving woman who worked hard all her life.
She had a love for sports and was an avid Steelers and Indians fan.
Above all, she loved her Family and will be missed by all who knew her!
She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Anna Marie David.
“Fran” is survived by four daughters: Kathy Ann and her husband Jim Jarvis of Alliance, Ohio, Karen Marie and her husband Terry King of Alliance, Ohio, Julie Lynn Baxter of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, and Jennifer Lee Baxter of Alliance, Ohio; one son, Michael Patrick Baxter and his wife Peggy of Alliance, Ohio; five grandchildren: Brad, Jessica, Andrew, Taylor and Olivia; five step grandchildren; one step great-grandchild; four brothers: Fred “Hawk” David and his wife Elsie, Simon “Junebug” David and his wife Lucy, John David and his wife Maxine, and Joseph David all of Uniontown, Pa.; and many nieces and nephews.
The Family will receive Friends at the SHARER-STIRLING-SKIVOLOCKE FUNERAL HOME, 1000 South Union Avenue, Alliance, OH 44601 (330-823-2159) on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be said on Monday, December 29, at 10 a.m. in Regina Coeli Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. J. Patrick Manning as Celebrant.
Entombment will take place in the Mausoleum at Mount Saint Macrina Cemetery in Uniontown, Pa.
There will be an Interment Service on Monday, December 29, at 3 p.m. in the MAUSOLEUM CHAPEL at Mount Saint Macrina Cemetery.
