Joseph J. Carney, age 77, of Dawson, Pa., who was born in Belleville, New Jersey, died Saturday, December 27, 2003 in Cherry Tree Nursing Center, Uniontown, Pa. He is survived by three cousins: Virginia Carney and Madeline Ottalagna both of New York state and Paul Baudrea of Florida; sisters-in-law: Harriet Burec of Connellsville, Pa., Mary Knecht of Jefferson Hills, Pa., and Betty Colbert and her husband Bill of Dawson, Pa.; brother-in-law, Robert Ruffner and his wife Kay of Brockport, Pa.; nieces and nephews.

The Family will receive Friends in the Ralph E. Galley Funeral Home, corner of Railroad and Laughlin streets, Dawson, Pa., today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday from 9 a.m. until the Service at 11 a.m.
