Mary Dolores (Bobyak) Popson, 85, of Uniontown, Pa. passed away Sunday, Oct. 26, 2003, in her home, with her loving family at her side. Born Sept. 26, 1918, in Dunbar, Pa., she was the daughter of the late John Bobyak and Mary (Berrish) Bobyak.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Augustine Popson; her son, Thomas Popson; a grandson, Ronald G. Koschock; brothers, Michael and Joseph Bobyak; and her son-in-law, John Saluga.

Mary was a member of St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, and The Christian Mothers.

She is survived by her loving children, Geraldine Saluga of Hopwood, Pa., Elaine Koschock and husband, Ron of Hopwood, Pa., Richard Popson and wife, Terry of Hopwood, and Mary Jo Matthews and husband, James of Uniontown, with whom she made her home; grandchildren, John Saluga and wife, Beth, Cindy Rhoades, Christopher Koschock and wife, Renee, Christina Saluga, Tera Popson, Joseph Popson and fianc?, Shannon Mahoney, Christopher Popson and wife, Brooke and Richard Popson and fianc?, Leah Kmetz; great-grandchildren, Marybeth Saluga, Nina Saluga, Nikolas and Nathan Rhoades, Makayla Koschock, Hailey Popson, Jacob Cochran and Kara Popson, whom she adored and made her home with; and her sister-in-law, Mary Bobyak and brother-in-law, Francis Popson.

Friends will be received in the STEPHEN E. KEZMARSKY III FUNERAL HOME, AT 71 PENNSYLVANIA AVE., UNIONTOWN, today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Prayers of Transfer will be held on Wednesday at 10:30 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, in St. Mary’s R.C. Church at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in Mt. Macrina Cemetery. A Parish Wake Servivce will be held today at 2:30 p.m.
