Loretta Pearl Hobaugh Newcomer, age 77 years, of Georges Township, Fayette County, Pa., daughter of the late Henry R. Hobaugh and Flo Cooley Hobaugh, died on Wednesday evening, December 24, 2003 in her residence. Beloved wife of Joseph R. Newcomer, went home to be with her Lord Jesus Christ, whom she served with gladness throughout her adult years, Psalm 100. She also leaves behind her faithful pet, Casey.

In addition to her parents she was predeceased by an infant brother, Herbert Raymond Hobaugh.

Private family services were held on Sunday, December 28, in the DEAN C. WHITMARSH FUNERAL HOME, 134 West Church Street, Fairchance, Pa., with Rev. George W. McLaughlin officiating.

Private interment in Walnut Hill Church Cemetery.

The Walnut Hill Methodist Church became her spiritual birthplace in 1931 during revival services. She was currently a member of Cherry Tree Christian and Missionary Alliance Church in Uniontown, Pa.
