Barbara Maraney
Barbara Regish Maraney of Anaheim Hills, Calif., formerly of Republic, Pa., born on May 5, 1909, entered eternal life on December 25, 2003, surrounded by her loving family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dominick Q. Maraney, and was the beloved mother of the late Melvin A. Maraney, Sr. and daughter-in-law Josephine Tassone Maraney.
She leaves behind her granddaughters, Tina Maraney Rogers (Skip) and Gloria Maraney Harrison; and grandson, Melvin A. Maraney Jr. She also leaves behind great-grandchildren Jacqueline and Dominic Rogers, Kristen Harrison, Jennifer Harrison Hanna (Byron), Jason Maraney, Kathi Maraney McManus (Chuck); great great-grandchildren Kyle, Griffin and Sydney McManus; and close family members Margaret Krepps and Barbara and Teresa Durinzi.
Although we are deeply saddened by our loss, we are overjoyed knowing that Barbara is being rewarded by the Lord for her tireless love and compassion to her family. We will miss you Grammie and “We love you all the time.”
Services will be held at St. Cecelia Church in Tustin, Calif., today, with burial at Holy Sepulcher Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by LUYBEN FAMILY DILDAY-MOTTELL MORTUARY of Long Beach, Calif.
