Lillian Smith Jenkins
Lillian N. Smith Jenkins of 613 Howard Street, Brownsville, Pa., died at 4:17 a.m. on Thursday, January 30, 2003 in Shadyside Hospital, Pittsburgh, Pa.
She was born June 8, 1922 daughter of George Smith and Mildred Lanon Smith. Lillian was a member of Mount Zion African Methodist Episcopal Church in Brownsville and American Legion Post 627.
Her husband, Arthur Jenkins, and parents are deceased.
She is survived by three daughters: Marcella K. Bowman, Claudette M. Freeman and husband, Douglas Freeman Sr., and Eleanor B. Morales, all of Pittsburgh, Pa.; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received at Mount Zion A.M.E. Church, Cadwallader Street, Brownsville, Pa., today from 4 to 8 p.m. and Monday, February 3, until 11 a.m., the hour of Service with the Rev. Carl Kemp officiating.
Interment will follow in LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, Pa.
