Susanna Soakie McClain
Susanna Soakie McClain, 86, of Uniontown, Pa., and formerly of Mount Braddock, Pa., died Friday, January 31, 2003 in UPMC Shadyside, Pittsburgh, Pa.
She was born October 29, 1916 in Johnstown, Pa., daughter of John and Susanna Soakie. Susanna was a retired Janitorial substitute from Laurel Highlands School District and an avid bingo player.
Her husband, Milton McClain, and parents preceded her in death.
Surviving are her beloved children: Loretta McClain Holland and husband, Ben Holland, Charles McClain and companion Connie Winter, and Margaret McClain Sellong and husband, William Sellong, all of Uniontown, Pa., and Deborah McClain Tiggart, Coolspring, Pa.; former daughter-in-law, Linda McClain, Elizabeth, Pa.; 11 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received in the BURHANS-CROUSE FUNERAL HOME, 28 Connellsville Street, Dunbar, PA 15431, today from 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday, February 3, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Services will begin at 2 p.m. with Pastor Roger Yeager officiating.
Interment will follow in Cove Run Cemetery.
