Martha E. Wood, R.N.
Martha E. Wood, R.N., age 68, of Finleyville, Pa., and formerly of Uniontown, Pa., passed away on Saturday, February 1, 2003 in The Marquis House, South Uniontown, Pa. She was born August 16, 1934 in South Union Township, Fayette County, Pa., daughter of Clyde F. Wood and Sidney L. Stillwell Wood.
Martha was a member of St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Uniontown and graduated from the former South Union Township High School and also the former Uniontown Hospital School of Nursing.
She retired from Torrance State Hospital.
Two brothers, Clyde and James Wood, a sister, Mary Reed, and parents preceded her in death.
She is survived by a Sister-in-law, Vivian Wood; a Niece, Carolyn Swaney and her husband, Warren, of Clinton, Maryland; two Nephews: Kurtis Wood and his wife, Michelle, of Uniontown, Pa., and Bill Reed and his wife, Jean, of West Leisenring, Pa.; several Great Nieces and Great Nephews.
Private services will be held.
Interment will be in Mount Olive Cemetery, Bullskin Township, Fayette County, Pa.
