Sam and Ilene Bach of Smithton R.D. 1 announce the engagement of their daughter, Rebecca Bach, to Ryan Werner of Surrey Lane, Mt. Vernon. The bride-elect is a 2000 graduate of Yough High School and is attending Westmoreland County Community College. She is manager at Smithton Travel Plaza.
Her fiance is the son of Jack and Bev Werner of Fourth Street, West Newton.
He is a 1997 graduate of Yough High School and earned a business degree in management from Westmoreland County Community College. He is manager of Eckerd Drug in Squirrel Hill.
A wedding for June 5, 2004, is being planned.
