Doris Myrick Finnerty
Doris M. (Myrick) Finnerty, age 72, of Footedale, Pa., passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 6, 2003.
She was born May 23, 1930 in Troy, Maine, a daughter of Fred A. Myrick and Lena Sargent Myrick.
Doris was a member of McClellandtown United Presbyterian Church. Her husband, William C. Finnerty died in 1987. Also deceased are a grandson, James Knowles, sisters, Helen Kerchner and Flora Heffern, brothers, Earl and Freeman Myrick, and parents.
Surviving are daughters: Christina Graves and husband, Alden, of Dixmont, Maine, Cheryl Finnamore of Kenduskeag, Maine, Linda A. Glover of Footedale, Pa., Jacquelyn Bolin and husband, Ken, of Fredericktown, Pa., and Margaret R. Connors and husband, Daryl, of Chestnut Ridge, Pa.; Grandchildren: Robert Burpee, John Burpee, Brenda Kimball, Donald Elston, Tracie Snyder, Charles Rupenthal and Kelsey Connors; several Great Grandchildren; Sisters: Shirley Gray of Plymouth, Maine, and Ora Bushley of North Windham, Maine; a brother, Richard Myrick of Massachusetts; and several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, February 11, 2003 at 7 p.m. in McClellandtown United Presbyterian Church, Route 21, McClellandtown, Pa., with the Rev. Rebecca Drover officiating.
