Richard E. Mayers
Richard E. Mayers, 40, of Cleveland, Ohio, and formerly of Blainesburg, Pa., died Tuesday, February 4, 2003 in Cleveland. He was born September 30, 1962 in Bedford, Ohio, son of Olive Murphy Mayers of Blainesburg, Pa., and the late Walter G. “Oats” Mayers.
In addition to his father, he was predeceased by a sister, Carol Forsyth, and an infant sister, Natalie Ann Mayers.
Besides his mother, he is survived by a brother, Walter Mayers and wife, Donna, of Fredericksburg, Virginia; three children: Daniel, Amanda and Joshua; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received in the SKIRPAN FUNERAL HOME, 135 Park Street, Brownsville, Pa., today from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. where a Funeral Service will be held Monday, February 10, at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Rohland O’Brien officiating.
Interment will follow in Westland Cemetery.
Visitation was also held Saturday from 6 to 9 p.m.
