Suzanne Helisek Fiala
Suzanne H. (Helisek) Fiala, age 49, a resident since 1997 of Greensboro, Pa., and formerly of Carmichaels, Pa., who graduated from Carmichaels Area High School, worked in Elderly Home Care, and was born in Franklin Township, Greene County, Pa., died unexpectedly Friday morning, February 7, 2003 at her home. On February 14, 1990 she married Paul C. Fiala, who survives.
Also surviving are a son, Nick S. Lapana of Carmichaels, Pa.; a daughter, Gerri S. Shaffer of Albright, West Virginia; grandchild, Shelby Lynn Shaffer; sisters: Mrs. Ross (Gloria) Hill of Greensboro R. D. 1, Pa., Mrs. Ronald (Velma) Holiviak of Delaware, Mrs. Clay (Pearl) Gifford of Waynesburg, Pa., and Judy Helisek of Massachusetts; several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at the Yoskovich Funeral Home, Martin J. Yoskovich, Funeral Director, 300 South Vine Street, Route 88, Carmichaels, Pa., today, February 9, from 6 p.m. until the services at 8 p.m.
