Alice Cooke Hunter
Alice Marie Cooke Hunter, age 84, of Uniontown, Pa., passed away Thursday, February 6, 2003 in Laurel Ridge Center.
She was born in South Union Township, Fayette County, Pa., on February 12, 1918 daughter of Charles W. Cooke and Mary Grubbs Cooke. She was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew Hunter, on April 26, 1985, a brother, John C. Cooke on May 22, 1998, and her parents.
She is survived by two sisters: Irene C. Stark of Uniontown, Pa., and Janet C. Linderman of Louisville, Kentucky; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received in the DOLFI FUNERAL HOME, Uniontown, Pa., on Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday, February 12, from 10 until 11 a.m. Services will be held at 11 a.m.
Interment will follow in Sylvan Heights Cemetery, Uniontown.
