George J. Milligan Jr.

George J. Milligan Jr., 75, of Newell, Pa., a veteran of World War II who served with the United States Navy as a Fireman 1st Class, retired from P&LE Railroad, was Union President and Steward for the Bortherhood of Railroad Workers, and was born in Pittsburgh, Pa., died Saturday, February 8, 2003 in his home. He is survived by his wife, Patricia J. O’Neill Milligan; children: Diane Mizak Milligan of Crafton, Pa., Thomas Milligan and wife, Marilyn, of Upper St. Clair, Pa., Donna Murrman and husband, Gary, of Presto, Pa., John Milligan of Presto, Pa., and Deborah Booth and husband, Jeffrey, of Apex, North Carolina; and grandchildren: Nicholette Mizak, Brian Mizak, Kaitlin Milligan, Kelly Milligan, Maureen Milligan and Melissa Gorman.

Friends will be received at the Eley-McCrory Funeral Home Inc., 334 Main Street, Fayette City, Pa., today from 7 to 9 p.m., Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday, February 12, until the blessing at 9:15 a.m.
