Barbara Kough Larkin
In loving memory of Barbara Kough Larkin, born March 10, 1920, who passed away quietly at home on Sunday, February 9, 2003 at 4:30 p.m. Barbara was the daughter of Oliver and Ellen S. Kough. She was a graduate of Uniontown Senior High School and a graduate of Allegheny College BS in Biology. She was a member of the Kappa Alpha Theta Sorority at Allegheny.
Barbara was active in Uniontown’s St. Peters Episcopal Church and the Uniontown Chapter of the Green Gardeners’ Club. Barbara enjoyed her family time the most.
She is survived by her husband of 58 plus years, William A. Larkin, MD; children, William A. Larkin, Jr., Louise Larkin Rutherford, Nancy L. Bittner, Suellen L. Carbin, Elinor L. Howell and James F. Larkin; grandchildren, Jennifer A. Steiner, Jonathan D. Rutherford, Megan L. Carbin, Robert A. Carbin and Sarah A. Carbin.
Visitation can be made at JOHNSTON FUNERAL HOME, 65 N. Gallatin Ave., Uniontown, Pa. today from 7 to 9 p.m., Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday’s service at 11 a.m. at St. Peters Episcopal Church.
Burial at Sylvan Heights Cemetery will follow the service at St. Peters.
