Michael J. Dancho Jr.
Michael J. “Mick” Dancho Jr., age 58, of Uniontown, Pa., passed away suddenly Saturday, February 8, 2003 at his home.
He was born July 24, 1944 in Uniontown, Pa., son of Michael J. Dancho Sr. and Norma Berry Dancho. He was a member of Trinity United Presbyterian Church, a Veteran of the United State Navy, had been a Pennsylvania State Police officer, and was retired from Teamsters Local 491, Uniontown.
“Mick” was a loving Son, Husband, Father, Grandfather and Brother.
He married his high school sweetheart, Elizabeth Anne George Dancho, 40 years ago.
Also surviving are his children: Deborah Anne Reckner and husband, Patrick, of Lamar, South Carolina, Michael J. Dancho III and wife, Kathy, of Roanoke, Virginia, Rebecca Lynn Kanar and husband, Eugene, of Whitehall, Pa.; six grandchildren; one great grandson; and a sister, Marylou Fijalkovic and husband, Paul, of Bethelboro, Pa.
His parents and a brother, Patrick Dancho, preceded him in death.
Friends will be received in the DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME, Hopwood, Pa., today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday, February 12, from 10 until 11 a.m., the hour of the Service with Rev. Robert Lewis officiating.
Amvets Post 103 Hopwood will conduct military services.
