Nellie Zapotosky (Lewis) Dudek, 84, of 1040 North Gallatin Ave., Uniontown, Pa., died Sunday, Feb. 9, 2003, at 5:25 a.m., in UMPC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh, Pa. He was born Sept. 23, 1918, in Leckrone, Pa., the daughter of the late Charles and Anna (Sampsell) Lewis.

She was a housewife, and was a member of St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church of Leckrone.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husbands, Michael Zapotosky and Michael “Mickey” Dudek; sisters, Bertha, Myrtle, Ethel and Elizabeth; and brothers, Earl, Albert, Wilbur, Jessie and Harry.

Surviving are a daughter, Louise Swaney of Uniontown, Pa.; two sons, Ronald and wife, Kathy Zapotosky of Uniontown, Pa., and Kenneth and wife, Mary Zapotosky of Parma, Ohio; seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and a brother, Orval and wife, Mildred Lewis of Lewistown, Pa.

Private Viewing was held for the family. Funeral services were held in St. Mary’s R.C. Church of Leckrone. Private interment was in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Leckrone, Pa. Arrangements were by the JOHN S. MAYKUTH JR., FUNERAL HOME, Masontown, Pa. Donations may be made for a Mass.
