Corine J. (Tina) Cipriani Grego, 79, of Uniontown, Pa., passed away on Tuesday evening, Feb. 11, 2003, in the IHS, Greensburg, Pa., following a lengthy illness.

She was born in Puritan, Pa., on Oct. 14, 1923, the daughter of the late Pasquale and Angelina (Fienza) Cipriani.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James J. Grego; three sisters, Connie Elardo of Orlando, Fla., Mary Cipola of Ambridge, Pa., and Violet Krovich of Beaver Falls, Pa.; and one brother, Nick Cipriani of Freedom, Pa.

She is survived by a daughter, Madeline C. Grego DeYoung of Uniontown, Pa.; a son, James M. Grego Jr., and wife, Mary Ann Grego of Uniontown, Pa.; a grandson, John (Jack) DeYoung and wife, Danyell and great-granddaughter, Kindalle from Little Rock, Calif.; and a brother, Michael Cipriani of Baden, Pa.

Corine was a homemaker. She enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening and singing Italian songs. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

She was a member of the Catholic Mothers Club of Oliver, and a lifetime member of St. Therese Altar Society and of St. Therese Roman Catholic Church of Uniontown.

The family will receive friends in the STEPHEN E. KEZMARSKY III FUNERAL HOME, AT 71 PENNSYLVANIA AVE., UNIONTOWN, PA., today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., and on Friday, Feb. 14, 2003, until 9 a.m., when a blessing service will be held, followed by a 9:30 a.m., Mass of Christian burial in St. Therese R.C. Church, with the Rev. Fr. Kenneth J. Zaccagnini as celebrant. Interment follows in Oak Grove Cemetery. The St. Therese Altar Society will recite the Rosary this evening at 7:30 p.m.
