Louise B. Bloom
Louise B. Bloom, 77, of Rowes Run, Pa., died Wednesday, Feb. 12, 2003, in Monongahela Valley Hospital. She was born on July 9, 1925, in Connellsville, Pa., daughter of the late Lee and Anna Walko Bloom.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Leo and Edward Bloom.
Surviving are a son, George (Oogie) Bloom and his wife, ,Gloria of Perryopolis, Pa.; two grandchildren, Melissa Bloom of Charleroi, Pa., and Brian Bloom of Clairton, Pa.; two great-grandchildren, Amber and Joshua; three brothers, William Bloom and his wife, Nancy of Buffalo, N.Y., Raymond Bloom and his wife, Evelyn of Uniontown, Pa., and Vincent Bloom and his wife, Veronica of Smock, Pa.; a sister, Anna Marie Harper and her husband, David of Perryopolis, Pa.; a sister-in-law, Geraldine Bloom of Warren, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received in the SKIRPAN FUNERAL HOME, 135 Park St., Brownsville, Pa., today from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m., where a prayer service will be held on Saturday at 9 a.m., followed by a Funeral Mass at 9:30 a.m., in St. Cecelia’s R.C. Church, Grindstone, Pa. with the Rev. Fr. John Sedlak as celebrant. Private interment will follow. The Rosary Confraternity will recite the Partner Parish Rosary today at 7:30 p.m. A Vigil Service will be held today at 8 p.m.
