Douglas Young, age 49, of Jefferson, Pa., a 33-year member of the Jefferson Volunteer Fire Company who was the fire company’s representative and EMT/EMT instructor, Chairman of the Board of the Lower Ten Mile Joint Sewer Authority, who graduated in 1971 from Jefferson-Morgan High School and The Pennsylvania State University in 1975, and employed by the United States Postal Service as a Rural Mail Carrier in Jefferson since 1978, died Thursday, February 13, 2003 in Monongalia General Hospital, Morgantown, West Virginia. He is survived by his mother, Deloris Miller Young of Jefferson, Pa.; aunts: Wilda Teegarden, Ruth Monas, Gloria Dunseath and Agatha Virgin; and several cousins.

Friends were received Saturday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. and will be received in the Behm Funeral Homes Inc., 1477 Jefferson Road, Jefferson, Pa., Gregory P. Rohanna, Supervisor, today, February 16, until the Service at 12 Noon.
