James L. Smith
James L Smith, age 53, of Tridelphia, West Virginia, formerly of Mather, Pa., and also Ohio, who graduated from Rhodes High School in Ohio, attended California University of Pennsylvania, served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War, was a Salesman for a parts store in West Virginia, and was born in Brownsville, Pa., died Thursday, February 13, 2003 in Wheeling Medical Park, Wheeling, West Virginia.
He is survived by his father, Lloyd D. Smith, and stepmother, Charlotte Virgili Smith, of Mather, Pa.; his beloved wife, Brenda M. Bowman, whom he married December 20, 1994; a children: James Lloyd Smith at home, Jennifer Smith of Pittsburgh, Pa., and Amanda Smith Hartung of New Hampshire; grandson, Samuel Hartung of New Hampshire; and his maternal grandmother, Mary Zaverack Fencil of Mather, Pa.
The Family will receive Friends in the Behm Funeral Homes Inc., 1477 Jefferson Road, Jefferson, Pa., Gregory P. Rohanna, Supervisor, on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday, February 18, until the Service at 1 p.m.
