Mahlon L. Sanner, 53, a lifelong resident of Normalville, Pa., who worked as a Welder, graduated from Connellsville High School in the Class of 1969, Veteran of the United States Army who served in the Vietnam War, and former employee of Fruehauf Corporation in Uniontown, Pa., died unexpectedly Friday, February 14, 2003 in H. C. Frick Hospital, Mount Pleasant, Pa.

He is survived by his father, Wornie Levi Sanner of Normalville, Pa.; his loving wife of 32 years, Bonnie J. Layman Sanner; son, Christopher John Sanner at home; a brother, Lawrence Sanner and wife, Norma, of Normalville; sisters: Dian Sanner Riggleman and husband, Jesse Riggleman, of Romney, West Virginia, Pauline Sanner Ohler and Elsie Sanner Shroyer both of Normalville, Betty Sanner, Birdie Sanner Worley and Nancy Sanner Tissue and husband, Greg Tissue, all of Connellsville, Pa.; nephew, Amos Hurt of Normalville who was raised with Mahlon; also several other nephews and nieces.

Family and Friends will be received in the Clyde Brooks Funeral Home Inc., Route 711, Melcroft, Pa., on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday, February 18, until the Service at 11 a.m.
