Eva L. Bushick
Eva Lorraine Bushick, 92, of Carmichaels, Pa., formerly of Masontown, Pa., died Sunday, Feb. 16, 2003, at 9:50 p.m., in Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, W.Va.
She was born Feb. 14, 1911, in Nicholson Township, Fayette County, Pa., the daughter of the late Angelo Mioranza and Caroline Fontana.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James F. Bushick, whom she married on June 15, 1931, and who died in 1941; two brothers; and seven sisters.
Her husband was a prominent businessman in Masontown, Pa.
She enjoyed cooking and baking, was a member of St. Hugh Roman Catholic Church of Carmichaels, and was employed at the Curry Home, Waynesburg, Pa., for many years.
Surviving are a son, Ronald D. Bushick and wife, LouCinda (Butler) of Glen Mills, Pa.; a grandson, J. Bryan Bushick and wife, Kirsten of Wynnewood, Pa.; two great-grandchildren, Kyle Matthew and Kendall Grace Bushick; and several nieces and nephews.
She was the last of her immediate family.
Friends will be received in the PAUL M. LESAKO FUNERAL HOME INC., Carmichaels, Pa., on Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m., and on Friday from 10 to 11 a.m., the hour of service, with the Rev. John Bauer officiating. Interment will be in Sylvan Heights Cemetery, Uniontown, Pa.
