Hazel F. Fields
Hazel F. Fields, 84, of Uniontown, Pa., passed away Tuesday, Feb. 18, 2003, in the Uniontown Hospital. She was born Feb. 8, 1919, in Republic, Pa., the daughter of the late Floyd V. and Ethel Tedrow Null.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Leslie E. Fields; a son, Stanley J. Fields; and a brother, Harold K. Null.
Hazel graduated from Redstone High School, and the Uniontown School of Nursing. She then worked at the Uniontown Hospital in maternity for several years before becoming a homemaker with her family.
Surviving is a son, Leslie H. Fields Sr., and his wife, Martha of Uniontown; a daughter-in-law, Mary Ann Fields of Lavern, Calif.; eight grandchildren, Todd, Timothy and David Fields, Dottie Francisco and Martha, John, Adam and Leslie Fields Jr.; 11 great-grandchildren; a brother, Robert V. Null of Leesburg, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the ANDREW D. FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME INC., 80 Morgantown St., Uniontown, Pa. The family will receive friends today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., at the funeral home, and on Friday, Feb. 21, 2003, from 10 to 11 a.m., when services will be held, with the Rev. Arthur Mace officiating. Interment will be at LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, Pa.
