Vehicle burned
State police said someone set a Jeep Cherokee on fire Feb. 12 on Breakneck Road. Anyone with information is asked to call state police at 724-439-7111.

Centerville police said they cited Glenn A. MacFann, 32, of 27 Arch St., Vestaburg, and Jeffery Urban, 34, of Fredericktown on Feb. 18 for disorderly conduct after the two men got into a fight at Angelo’s Bar on Lowhill Road.

Retail theft
State police said someone took $109.93 in merchandise Thursday from Gabriel Brother’s, 321 McClellandtown Rd., at about 3:10 p.m.

State police said that three reckless driving citations were issued to Marcus Casserly of 60 Duck Hollow Rd., Uniontown, for a Feb. 9 hit-and- run accident in a parking lot along Route 40.

Mary Rueckl of Butler told state police that someone struck her car while it was parked in the Huber Haus parking lot on Feb. 8.

State police said Ed Kisner of New Salem lost control of his vehicle Thursday on Route 21 and hit a snow bank before the vehicle rolled onto its roof.

Recovered stolen vehicle
While on routine patrol on Feathers Avenue Wednesday city police spotted a black 2003 Pontiac Vibe that was reportedly use in a car jacking in Lemon Wood Acres that same day. The vehicle was turned over to the state police for processing.

Muriel Lantz told police that a vehicle struck a utility pole Wednesday on Main and Grant streets and did some damage.

South Connellsville
Charges waived to court
A South Connellsville man accused of selling drugs to undercover police officers will have the matter heard in Fayette County court.
Dave N. Green, 43, of 1711 S. Pittsburgh St. is charged with four counts of possession with intent to deliver or manufacture and one count of drug possession in connection to the January incidents.
According to the criminal complaint filed by South Connellsville Police, a confidential informant was sent by police to Green’s residence on two occasions and allegedly purchased Oxycotin, a prescription pain narcotic.
On Jan. 17, police and members of the Fayette County Drug Task Force executed a search warrant at Green’s home and allegedly recovered two bottles of Oxycotin hidden inside a pillow and a plastic baggy contained a substance that field tested positive for marijuana.
Police said $481 was also confiscated during the search.
Green remains free on a $25,000 unsecured bond under an agreement with the Fayette County Adult Probation Office.
