Joseph H. David
Joseph Harold David, 79, of Uniontown, Pa., passes away on Monday, Feb. 17, 2003, at Uniontown Hospital. He was born Jan. 20, 1924, in Uniontown, Pa., the son of the late Joseph L. and Marie E. (Brown) David.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, John David.
He was a steelworker for U.S. Steel, and for the Ford Motor Company Glass Plant in Tulsa, Okla.
Surviving are a son, William Merriman and wife, Tetina of Connellsville, Pa.; three grandchildren; a sister, Joyce Barbee of Ft. Worth, Texas; two brothers, Robert David and wife, June of Uniontown, Pa., and Donald David and wife, June of Glassport, Pa.; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received in the STEPHEN E. HAKY FUNERAL HOME INC., AT SYLVAN HEIGHTS CEMETERY, A Dignity Memorial Provider, 603 North Gallatin Ave., Ext., Uniontown, today from 7 to 9 p.m., and until 10 a.m., Saturday, when a blessing service will be held, in the funeral home chapel, with the Rev. Fr. Kenneth Zaccagnini officiating. Interment to follow at Sylvan Heights Cemetery.
