Freddy Michael Squires
Freddy Michael “Mike” Squires, age 55, of Hopwood, Pa., died suddenly Friday, February 21, 2003 at his home. He was born October 31, 1947 in Gassaway, West Virginia, son of the late Freddy B. “Catfish” Squires (December 9, 1991) and Hylah Kight Squires (September 12, 2002).
“Mike” was an avid outdoorsman. He was a life member of Hutchinson Sportsman’s Club and a member of Wharton Hunting and Fishing Club.
He had been employed by Fruehauf for 25 years and served in the Untied States Army Reserves.
He loved all of his Family and Friends very much! He will be missed dearly by all who knew him!
Surviving are his daughter, Dana Jo Squires Rishel and husband, Derek Shawn, of Gibbon Glade, Pa.; his son, Michael Eric Squires of Farmington, Pa.; two special granddaughters: Rosie and D. J. Rishel; sisters-in-law: Henrietta and Bill Girard, Ruth and Jack Lewis, Marsha and Ron Lutz all of Farmington, Janet and Michael Lutz of Uniontown, Pa.; many nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Ed Regula.
Friends will be received in the DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME, Hopwood, Pa., today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday, February 24, until 11 a.m., the hour of the Service with Rev. A. Harrison Smith officiating.
Interment will follow in Mount Washington Cemetery, Farmington, Pa.
