King-Workman
St. Peter’s Roman Catholic Church, Brownsville, was the setting for the marriage of Janine Workman of Grindstone and Eric King of West Brownsville. The Rev. Vince Gigliotti officiated the nuptial Mass on Sept. 28.
The bride is the daughter of Renee and Blaine Sphar of Grindstone and Ronald and Kim Workman of Brownsville.
The bridegroom is the son of Leslie and Lonna King of West Brownsville.
The bride was escorted to the altar by her father and step-father. She wore a white satin gown with strapless top, and cathedral-length train accentuated with pearls. A pearl headpiece held a veil with rolled edge.
Jessica Sphar was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Hilary Sphar, Amanda Nedley-Pikulsky, Amie Zeli, Danielle King, Kristy Stanko, Deana Zamiska and Shannon Stanko. Katie Zeli and Amanda Thompson were flower girls.
Best man was Danny Cover. Ushers were Carlo Maglas, Jeff Chrobak, Josh Sphar, Ron Workman Jr., Todd King, Robert Nedley and Chad King. Ring bearers were Lance-Christian Zeli and Matthew Chrobak.
A reception was held at the West Brownsville Fire Hall.
The bride is a 1996 graduate of Brownsville Area High School and a 2000 graduate of Penn State. She is a juvenile probation officer.
The bridegroom is a 1992 graduate of California Area High School and is employed as a machinist.
The couple honeymooned at Walt Disney World, Orlando, Fla.
