State police said Ed Kisner of New Salem lost control of his vehicle Thursday on Route 21 and hit a snow bank before the vehicle rolled onto its roof.

Vehicle recovered
While on routine patrol Wednesday on Feathers Avenue, city police spotted a black 2003 Pontiac Vibe that was reportedly used in a car-jacking in Lemon Wood Acres that same day. The vehicle was turned over to the state police for processing.

South Connellsville
Charges waived to court
A South Connellsville man accused of selling drugs to undercover police officers will face trial in Fayette County Court. Dave N. Green, 43, of 1711 S. Pittsburgh St. is charged with four counts of possession with intent to deliver or manufacture and one count of drug possession in connection with the January incidents.
According to the criminal complaint, police sent a confidential informant to Green’s residence twice, and the informant allegedly purchased Oxycontin, a prescription pain narcotic.
On Jan. 17, police and members of the Fayette County Drug Task Force executed a search warrant at Green’s home and allegedly found two bottles of Oxycontin hidden inside a pillow and a plastic baggy that contained a substance that field tested positive for marijuana. Police said $481 also was confiscated during the search.
Green remains free on a $25,000 unsecured bond under an agreement with the Fayette County Adult Probation Office.

Beth Knabenshue told city police her 1987 Oldsmobile Cutlass Sierra was stolen from a Laurel Business Institute parking lot Saturday. The car is described as having a blue bottom and roof and a white middle.

Charges pending
State police said drug charges are pending against a 45-year-old bus driver who was pulled over Feb. 5 for running a stop sign around 10 a.m. and was found with marijuana. The man also submitted to a urine test so that police could determine if he was driving under the influence of a controlled substance. Charges are pending the results of lab tests to determine if the man was driving under the influence.

Juvenile escapes
City police said a boy who needed to be removed from an Evergreen Terrace residence escaped on foot around 1 p.m. Saturday. The 5-foot-4-inch white boy has a thin build and was wearing a white hooded sweatshirt and black and blue Nike tennis shoes. Arrangements have been made for his placement with Children and Youth Services, police said.

State police said they cited Raymond Joseph Murphy, 24, of Connellsville with disorderly conduct after he allegedly became disorderly while receiving medical attention at Highlands Hospital on Friday around 1:45 p.m.

Two hurt in crash
State police said driver Daniel Wayne Luckey, 18, of Uniontown and Dashon Leamont Walker, 19, of Masontown, a passenger in a vehicle driven by Beverly Ann Walker, 39, of Masontown, suffered minor injuries in a two-vehicle accident Saturday at 1:45 p.m. along Lebanon Avenue.
Walker and another of her passengers, Necole Lyn Hoffman, 22, also of Masontown, were not injured, said police.

State police said a Milwaukee angle drill was taken from Sears in the Uniontown Mall around 3:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Teen runs away
State police said 15-year-old George Anthony Kiss fled on foot from his Bute Road home on Thursday around 2:30 p.m. Anyone with information on Kiss’ location should call police at 724-439-7111.
