Doris Nira DeLuca
Doris Nira DeLuca, 69, of Uniontown, Pa., went to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 23, 2003. She was born December 24, 1933 in Shoaf, Fayette County, Pa., daughter of Adolph DeLuca and Edna Cooley DeLuca.
Doris graduated from Fairchance Borough High School Class of 1951, was a longtime employee of the G. C. Murphy Company and retired in 1983.
She was predeceased by her parents and her brother, Gerald W. DeLuca.
Doris is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Myrna K. Arendosh and Robert J. Arendosh Sr. of Midlothian, Virginia; two nephews: Vincent Arendosh and wife, Shelley, of Cumberland, Virginia, and Robert Arendosh Jr. of Midlothian, Virginia; a great-nephew, Casey A. Arendosh, Midlothian, Virginia; and many other relatives and friends.
The Family will receive Friends in the DEAN C. WHITMARSH FUNERAL HOME, 134 West Church Street, Fairchance, Pa., today from 7 to 9 p.m.
Private Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, February 25, in the Funeral Home with Rev. George W. McLaughlin officiating.
Interment will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Fairchance, Pa.
