V. Loraine Mosako Caldwell, R.N.
V. Loraine Mosako Caldwell, R.N., of Uniontown, Pa., passed away on Saturday, February 22, 2003 in her residence. She was born in Smock, Pa., daughter of Alva Mosako and the Rev. Ruth Fairfax Mosako.
Loraine graduated from the former Redstone High School in the Class of 1944 and also McKeesport Hospital School of Nursing in 1948.
She was a retired Nurse and a member of the McKeesport Hospital Alumni Association.
She was also a volunteer for the American Cancer Society.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Linda Mikolics, and a brother, Alva “Bill” Mosako, who was killed during World War II on December 25, 1944.
She is survived by five children: Leslie Dausey of Clairton, Pa., Mrs. Kit (Ruth) Potter of Bear Lake, Michigan, Rebecca Beam of Finleyville, Pa., William Caldwell of Charleroi, Pa., and Lory Caldwell of Clairton, Pa.; 13 Grandchildren and eight Great Grandchildren.
Friends will be received in the JAMES D. BARNETT FUNERAL HOME, 196 West Main Street, Uniontown, Pa., on Tuesday, February 25, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Private services and interment. The Rev. Kit Potter, her son-in-law, will officiate.
