Man arrested
Bernard John Kremposky, 44, of Fourth Street, West Leisenring, was arrested Sunday and charged with terroristic threats, harassment by communication or address, harassment and stalking, disorderly conduct and retail theft for a Saturday incident in the Save-A-Lot grocery store on West Penn Boulevard, state police in Uniontown said.
Police said assistant manager Trisha Lee Weinert, 19, of Uniontown reported that Kremposky was verbally abusive and allegedly threatened her and another employee, before shoving the employee.
When he left, he allegedly threatened to return with a gun and stole three cans of vegetables. He fled in a white sedan. When Kremposky was in the store Friday, Weinert told police that he allegedly gave a cashier a note threatening manager Thomas Alvin Lonce, 37, of Smithfield, police said. Kremposky was arrested Sunday and committed to the Fayette County Prison in lieu of $15,000 bond.

Cars collide
State police investigated a traffic accident on Route 51 at J&G Exxon just after noon Feb. 13. No injuries were reported. The drivers were Jennifer K. Dowling, 50, of Greensboro, N.C., and Peter Klasan, 82, of Perryopolis

Vehicle overturned
William Opar, 50, no address given, traveled off North Gallatin Avenue around a left curve and rolled his pick-up truck onto its side at 11:45 p.m. Sunday, state police said. He was not injured.

Stolen vehicle
Jennie Sue Ross of North Gallatin Avenue told city police that someone took her white Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera sometime after 11 p.m. Saturday while the vehicle was parked in the parking lot next to her apartment building.

Leonard Harris of 126 Milbridge St. told police Sunday that someone broke into his home and stole a Sony Play Station, four gold rings, four gold chains and $400.

Electrical fire
City police were called to an electric meter fire on the side of a house at 169 Connellsville St. Sunday. Police threw two buckets of water on the fire and called Allegheny Power to replace the meter.

Kentucky Fried Chicken manager Brad Cottrill told police that someone put a sign on the drive through speaker at 346 Mortantown St. Saturday that read “Manager’s Special. Buy one 2 piece meal and get one free.” Cottrill said after he took the sign down another one appeared. Cottrill also reported that several employees’ vehicles were egged.

Amanda Layhue of Masontown told city police Saturday that someone took the radio out of her vehicle while it was parked on Pennsylvania Avenue.

Man charged
State police said William Henry Howes, 23, of Marianna was charged with burglary after he turned himself into police Feb. 14 on a warrant for a smash-and-grab burglary at the BP station in Jefferson on Oct. 1. Howes was arraigned before District Justice Lee Watson and held in the Greene County Prison on $2,500 straight cash bail.

One-vehicle accident
State police said Frances M. Clark, 17, of Carmichaels lost control of her vehicle while driving along Route 21 Saturday at 1:05 p.m. and struck a guiderail near Haines Hollow Road. Clark was not injured, police said, but her passenger, Diane Kronk, 35, of Carmichaels suffered a hand injury.

State police said someone entered a vehicle owned by Herman Gearing, 53, of Smithton and removed several items sometime between 8 p.m. Friday and 5:30 a.m. Saturday.

Three struck
State police said Jeffrey M. Babirad, 29, of Bentleyville shoved and punched Larry J. Washlack, 52, of Cokeburg; Maryann Huff, 37, of Eighty Four; and Bruce A. Sicchitano, 35, of Bentleyville at the Independent Club Sunday at 12:15 a.m. Police said Babirad was cited for harassment.

Vehicle located
State police said a vehicle reported stolen by Gayla Lafferty, 44, of Hopwood on Feb. 12 was found on fire along River Road Thursday at 12:45 p.m.

Vehicle fire
State police said a vehicle, owned by Monongahela Township Municipal Authority and driven by Larry W. Lapana of Greensboro, caught fire Wednesday at 11:45 a.m. along a legislative route and quickly became engulfed in flames. Police said the vehicle was destroyed, but neither Lapana nor his passenger, Charles C. Harden of Greensboro, were injured. Greensboro Volunteer Fire Department assisted at the scene, police said.

State police said Henry L. Gephardt, 49, of Carmichaels struck Brett William Kronk, 31, of Nemacolin during an incident Friday at 11:45 p.m. at the Nemacolin Lions Club. Police said charges were filed against Gephardt at the office of District Justice Lee Watson.

State police said Eric James Stull, 35, of Waynesburg struck his ex-wife, Mona Sue Lemley-Stull, 35, of Waynesburg during an altercation at Mount View Gardens Saturday at 5:50 a.m. Lemley-Stull was not injured during the incident, police said.

State police said someone threw snowballs and broke two windows on a school bus owned by Kings Transit of Waynesburg while the bus was at the intersection of Third and Locust Streets Friday at 1:30 p.m.

Vehicle pursuit
State police said a juvenile male driver ran a stop sign in Mather Feb. 11 and failed to stop when police attempted to pull him over. Police said the man was later found at his home and taken to his grandparents’ house and said charges were filed in juvenile court against the teen.

Man cited
State police said Alan Ray Bolyard, 31, of Morgantown, W.Va., was cited for public drunkenness after he was found passed out in a snowdrift along Route 21 Thursday at 1:50 a.m.

State police said someone pumped almost 13 gallons of gasoline at the 7-Eleven along Route 21 sometime Thursday and left the scene without paying.

State police said someone damaged a door on an SUV outside a home along Rolling Meadows Road Tuesday between 2:30 and 6 a.m. and removed several items from the vehicle.

Woman slapped
State police said Louis Corley, 33, of Jacobs Creek slapped Tina Hill, 37, of Dawson during an argument Saturday at 6:55 p.m. in an alley in Jacobs Creek. Police said Corley was charged with harassment following the incident.
