Goldie Mae Miller Pahula
Goldie Mae Miller Pahula, 71, of Hopwood, Pa., died Monday, February 24, 2003 at 1:51 a.m. in UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh, Pa. She was born November 22, 1931 in Martin, Pa., a daughter of the late Howard Miller and Blanche Warman Miller.
She was a member of the Glad Tidings Assembly of God Church, McClellandtown, Pa., and retired from Meloni’s Restaurant in Uniontown where she had worked as a cook.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, John Pahula who died May 10, 1997, brothers Winslow, George, James, Charles Miller, sisters, Mary Riggen, Charlotte Jordan, nieces Joann Karit and Emma Jean Riggen.
She is survived by her loving family; sons, Frederick Monsour George and his wife Janice of Uniontown, John Pahula and wife Pam of Lemont Furnace, daughters, Lillian A. Grooms and husband Robert of Uniontown, Kimberly Pahula of Hopwood and Bernadine M. Perdue and husband Scott of Uniontown, sisters, Helen Harford, Galion, Ohio and Alta Hughes, Springfield, Ill.; eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Friends will be received in the JOHN S. MAYKUTH, JR., FUNERAL HOME, Masontown, Pa., today from 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday until 10 a.m. the hour of service with Pastor Timothy Tanner, officiating.
Interment will follow in Greendale Cemetery, Masontown, Pa.
