Mary E. Shamrock Wilson
Mary E. Shamrock Wilson, 96, of Fairchance, Pa., went to be with the Lord, February 24, 2003 in MonPointe Continuing Care Home, Morgantown, W.Va. She was born October 24, 1906 in Fairchance, Pa., daughter of the late Andrew Shamrock and Mary Speciak Shamrock.
She was a member of the Fairchance Curch of the Brethren, Women’s Fellowship and Ladies Sunday School Class.
She was predeceased by her husband Harold J. “Bus” Wilson, a grandson, Kevin C. Wilson, a great granddaughter, Kayla L. Green, five brothers, Andrew Shamrock Jr., John, George, Joseph and Steve Shamrock and a daughter-in-law Carole Wilson.
Surviving are five children; Harold J. Wilson, Jr. and wife, Thelma of Wheeling, Ill., Robert L. Wilson of Chicago, Ill., William R. Wilson and wife Dorothy, Larry B. Wilson and wife Polly, all of Fairchance, Mrs. John (Betty) Nowlin of LaCrosse, Va.; 16 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
Mrs. Wilson was the last surviving member of her family.
The family will receive friends in the GOLDSBORO-TOMI FUNERAL HOME, 21 East Church Street, Fairchance, Pa., today from 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Visitation continues Thursday until 11 a.m. the hour of service with the Rev. Rory O. Ruder officiating.
Interment will follow in Mountain View Memorial Park, Brownfield, Pa.
