KING COAL YOUTH BASEBALL for children age 5 through 12 will hold registration at the Carmichaels Fire Hall, including girls’ softball for all ages and Pony League for ages 13 and 14. Times are 9 to 11 a.m. Friday, 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday and 6 to 8 p.m. March 6. ST. THERESE ALTAR SOCIETY members will receive Communion at the 9:30 a.m. Sunday Mass. Recitation of the rosary will begin at 9:10 a.m. The regular meeting will be held at 7 p.m. March 6. Each member is asked to take four 50-cent wrapped gifts.
KARAOKE BY STAND UP AND SHOUT will be held from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. Saturday at the Bobtown Rod and Gun Club. There is a $2 cover charge. It is open to the public. For information, call 724-839-7460.
MOUNTAIN FELLOWSHIP CENTER FLEA MARKET will be held from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the center, Route 40 east, Markleysburg. A lunch counter and tables for rent inside and out (weather permitting) will be available. Call 724-329-0545 to reserve table space.
PENNSYLVANIA ALPHA GAMMA MASTER will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday at Denny’s Restaurant, Uniontown.
UNITED MINE WORKERS OF AMERICA, Dilworth Local 1980, will meet at 10:30 a.m. Sunday at the Crucible Union Hall.
MARDI GRAS CELEBRATION at St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church, Ranch Road, Dunbar, will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday. Members of the parish will host the event in the church social hall. Dennis Martin is general chairman. In addition to a bake sale, a variety of ethnic foods and various desserts will be available at the event. The Yough Group will hold a children’s corner and pi¤ata. The public may attend. No advance tickets will be sold.
COLONEL ANDREW LYNN Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution will meet at 2 p.m. Saturday at Uniontown Public Library. Speaker will be Mary J. McFadden who will talk on “Queen Aliquippa.’
