Paul D. Howard Jr.
Paul D. Howard Jr., 77, a lifelong resident of Masontown, Pa., passed away on Sunday, February 23, 2003 at home with his son David.
He was born June 24, 1925 in Masontown, Pa., son of the late Paul D. and Anna Dils Howard Sr. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife Kathryn L. Kattaron Howard in 1977, a brother Leroy Howard, three sisters, Sue Brady, Helen Downer and Eleanor Cunningham and a grandson Brad Howard.
Surviving are his son David Howard; a granddaughter Megan Howard; grandson Logan Howard and several nieces and nephews.
Paul was a veteran of World War II serving in the United States Army, a member of the Masontown United Methodist Church and was a partner in Howard’s Market of Masontown with his son David.
A private service will be held in the BERNARD M. TOWNSEND FUNERAL HOME, 220 South Main Street, Masontown, Pa. on Thursday, February 27, 2003 at 1 p.m., with the Rev. Robert H. Lewis officiating.
Interment will follow in the Greendale Cemetery.
